Join our Holiday Drive to Support U.S. Troops

The Dancer’s Alchemy will be collecting items for U.S. troops during the holiday season through the City of Delray Beach who is partnering with “You Are Not Alone” (YANA) and “One Soldier at a Time” for the 10th annual Project Holiday.

Donations may be dropped off in our Lobby at 1203 Knuth Road Boynton Beach, FL 33436 through December 2nd.

We invite you to join us as we collect desperately needed items to ship to soldiers unable to come home for the holidays. The community is encouraged to experience the true spirit of the season by contributing to this worthy cause.

Examples of needed items are (travel size preferred):

  • Coffee
  • Thermoguard pads (heating pads)
  •  Holiday decorations (all faiths)
  • Bags of hard, individually wrapped candy and gum (i.e., lifesavers, dollar store hard candy – please no chocolates except for tootsie rolls, tootsie roll pops, charm pops, etc.)
  • Snacks that can easily be put in their pockets while on duty (i.e., fruit cups, peanut butter crackers, etc.)
  • Dried meats (beef jerky, Slim Jim, pepperoni)
  • Boxes of granola bars or similar, individual bags of nuts, dried fruit, trail mix or sunflower seeds • Boxed and/or individual drink packets (i.e., Crystal Light, Wal-Mart or Target brand, Kool-Aid, hot chocolate, etc.)
  • Non-perishable food items
  • Foil packed tuna and chicken
  • Purell hand sanitizer
  • Hand lotion and sun block
  • Batteries (i.e., AA or AAA)
  • Hygiene products (foot powder, deodorant, toothpaste, baby wipes no bigger than  2½ wide packages)
  • Socks (e.g., white or black knee-hi)
  • Holiday and encouragement cards

“You Are Not Alone” (YANA) is a local group sponsored by the City of Delray Beach that provides encouragement and emotional support to family members and friends of our soldiers.

“One Soldier at a Time” is a project that supports our deployed military with care packages and words of encouragement.

Dancer’s Edge Company 2017 Audition

Due to Hurricane Irma, Dancer’s Edge Company auditions have been rescheduled for Saturday, September 23rd for dancers invited to audition. 

New Date: Saturday, September 23rd

Registration: 1:15pm-1:55pm

Audition: 2:00-4:00pm

Audition Attire

  • Females: Black leotard; pink ballet tights; ballet, jazz, & tap shoes; hair in a bun
  • Males: White, fitted t-shirt; black tights; ballet, jazz, & tap shoes

Audition packets are available in our office for those who did not attend the meeting on Tuesday, September 6th. Must complete all paperwork and bring it to the audition. 

Audition Location: Boynton Beach Community High School 4975 Park Ridge Blvd, Boynton Beach, Florida 33426; Enter into school entrance from Gateway Blvd., east of Congress Ave. and west of I-95.

The ART OF SWEETS is an annual fundraiser for The Dancer’s Edge Company through The Dancer’s Alchemy.

Join us tonight for the Delray Beach Holiday Parade starting at 6pm! Watch for the Dancer’s Edge Company and be sure to get their early to get a good spot!

Delray Beach Holiday Parade
“A Rock and Roll Holiday”
December 10, 2016, 6:00 pm

The parade route will start on Atlantic Avenue at the Intracoastal Bridge in Downtown Delray Beach, and will continue west to NW 5th Ave., with over 70 entries in the parade to help you celebrate the holidays. Through a special connection to the North Pole, The Delray Beach Fire Department will have Santa riding along on their fire truck.

The staging area with a master of ceremonies will be located in front of the Tennis Center, along with several food vendors for some tasty eats. A second food vendor area will be located at Veterans Park.

Awards will be given to entries in the following categories, and will be judged according to parade theme – “A Rock and Roll Holiday”:
